Odsherred is surrounded by the Isefjord, the Kattegat and Sejerø bay, so you will always be able to find a sheltered beach - no matter where the wind comes from.
Denmark’s best
Along Sejerø bay and the Kattegat coastline you find Zealand’s best beaches. Dunes, lyme grass and fine sand make the best playground in the world. Behind the dunes there are pine plantations and heath, giving shelter to Odsherred’s many summer cottages.
Blue Flag
The Odsherred area has 8 'Blue Flag'-beaches, all living up to the highest standards in water quality, sanitary facilities etc. But also along the Isefjord coastline you will find small, fine and peaceful beaches, and the gentle fjord coast with its beech woods is an ideal destination for a combined forest and beach picnic.
